A series of films that added value beyond the brief for this FF&E leader.
01 The brief
Pinnacle supply and install premium furniture, fixtures and fittings for schools — the kind of environments where how a space looks and feels affects how students experience learning. They needed a film that made that argument visually, to the people making procurement decisions: bursars, business managers, heads.
We'd already worked with Pinnacle on an animated brand piece. The film was the natural next step.
02 What we did
Two days. Day one at Pinnacle's Sussex offices — interviews with the team, plus their warehouse and a design room where interior designers work through furniture layouts, miniature room plans and fabric samples. Day two at Oxford International College Brighton, part of the Nord Anglia Education family — a serious independent college where Pinnacle had specified and fitted learning environments across the site.
We lit the interviews to work with the natural light coming through the windows — a warm, open feel carried across both days using open face sources and a quarter CTO. The idea was to let the spaces speak rather than impose a look on them.
The school footage did exactly that. Bright science labs finished to a high specification, modern common areas, students visibly comfortable in the spaces Pinnacle had helped create. The kind of footage that makes a procurement decision feel less like buying furniture and more like investing in an environment.
03 The result
The original brief was for a single company film. The material gave us enough for three — the main brand film, a school-specific edit and a third cut that emerged naturally from the footage. The additional edits were delivered beyond the original brief, giving Pinnacle a broader asset library and a clearer sense of how their story could be told to different audiences.
